WILLIAM MWALE

William Mwale, is Malawian artist born in Zimbabwe, and was raised in Botswana and Malawi. William found his passion for art in late 2004. 

His work is largely self-taught but he had a mentor who helped him to express his natural born talent. He has since taken part in various exhibitions such as the WESM annual exhibitions, VAAM, Solo Exhibitions and WAPI showcases.

William’s art work is curently exposed in the country at La Carvena in Blantyre or La Galleria in Lilongwe. He draws his inspiration from nature and the environment. He is also inspired by Malawian people, culture.

William also draw amazing animal portraits,  dog, cat or horse for example.

William Mwale est un artiste du Malawi, né au Zimbabwe, qui a grandit au Botswana et au Malawi. Sa passion pour l'art est plutôt tardive, car c'est en 2004 qu'il devient un artiste. Il apprend tous seul les techniques d'expression, s'entourant d'un mentor qui l'aide a exprimer son talent naturel.

Il a déjà participer à plusieurs expositions, comme l'exposition annuelle WESM ou encore VAAM.

 Il trouve son inspiration dans la nature, les différents peuples du Malawi, la culture, la société et la vie en générale du Malawi.
